We are pleased to inform you that the International workshop on agricultural and bio-systems engineering will be held at the Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on December 11^th-12^th, 2007. This workshop is co-organized by the Nong Lam University, Mie University (Japan), and Sung Kyung Kwan University (Korea), and the workshop is mainly sponsored by The Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training.

 It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the IWABE and to present your of most recent works. The IWABE will provide a good opportunity for ideas exchanges and information on the current researches and technology developments in the field of agricultural and bio-systems engineering. Our hope is to bring fruitful meeting for all participants and also to facilitate an enjoyable visit in Hochiminh City and nearby areas

 We are looking forward to meeting you at Nong Lam University HoChiMinh City.

CALL FOR PAPERS

All participants expecting to present theirs are requested to submit abstracts of the papers to the organizing committee no longer than June 15^th, 2007. The abstract should be less than 500 words and include the title of the paper, authors, objectives and results. The papers accepted for presentation at the IWABE will be notified to their authors by July 15^th, 2007. The authors of the accepted papers should submit their manuscripts by October 15^th, 2007. The manuscript format will be sent to the authors of the accepted papers.

Papers for either oral or poster presentations are focused on the following subjects:

1. Farm power and machinery

2. Post harvest technology

3. Bio-energy and alternative energy

4. Agricultural informatics and Precision Agriculture

5. Bio-mechatronics and Robotics in Agriculture

6. Related issues ( Policy,Management…)

LANGUAGE

The official language of the IWABE will be English.
