Vision

Faculty of Engineering – Technology ( FET) will become one of the leading Faculties in training, scientific research and technology transfer in the field of mechanical engineering, especially in the Agricultural and Bio-system Engineering and the Preservation Processing Engineering for Agro-food products.

Missions

Educating the young human resources have knowlegde, skills, attitudes, and physical strength in order to integrate with the regional and world working environment in the field of mechanical engineering - technology.

- Implementing scientific research, technology transfer and international cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering - technology in order to apply to production, especially in the field of agriculture and rural development.

 HARDLINES LABORATORY – TUV RHEILAND VIETNAM 

Position Title: Laboratory Assistant – Hardlines Laboratory 
No. of Vacant: 01 
Working Place: Block 10, Street 4, Quang Trung Software Park, District 12, HCMC 
Department: Hardlines Laboratory (Furniture testing). 
Education background: College/ University Degree in Mechanical or Wood Processing Engineer. Experience: 0 - 1 year experience working as mechanical test engineer 
Job Description:  
- Conduct mechanical safety testing of furniture and consumer products.
+ Sample preparation, setting up the test
+ Performing all mechanical tests
+ Preparing test report concerned and taking care of lab equipment, facilities
+ Development and implementation of new mechanical test methods.
- Work as inspector at customer site on requirement.

The assessment process by AUN includes three main stages:

 

(1) Exploring the standards;

 

(2) Self - assessment;

 

(3) External assessment.

 

AUN (ASEAN University Network) was established in 1995 by the Ministers of Education and the Rector of the University of leading Southeast Asia. For purposes: promote collaboration and enhance the quality of training and research among universities in the region and is the focal point for coordination of activities to accomplish the task of building standards and quality of education identify measures of continuous improvement of quality of universities in Southeast Asia.

Currently, there are 30 AUN member universities of 10 countries in the region. In particular, Vietnam has 03 University: Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam National University - Hanoi and Can Tho University.

ASEAN  University  Network-Quality  Assurance  (AUN-QA)  network  is  a  group  of  Chief Quality Officers (CQOs) appointed by the AUN member universities as the focal point for coordinating activities to realise the mission of harmonising educational standards  and  seeking  continuous  improvement  of  academic  quality  of  universities  in  ASEAN.

The  AUN-QA  activities  are  carried  out  by  the  CQOs  in  accordance  to  the  Bangkok Accord  adopted  in  2000,  which  provides  a  series  of  guidelines  to  promote  the development of a quality assurance system as instruments for maintaining, improving and enhancing teaching, research and the overall academic standards of AUN member universities.
